Getting Around

WALK

  • Exit The Pierre and turn right onto the dirt road.

  • At the end of the road, turn right.

  • Take your first left onto Lakeside Drive.

  • Follow Lakeside until it becomes a walking path to Lakeshore Drive.

  • Turn right on Lakeshore Drive.

  • Continue straight to Douglas Beach Park.

BIKE

  • Exit The Pierre and turn left.

  • Turn left onto Park Drive.

  • Take your next left onto 3rd Street.

  • Turn right onto May Avenue.

  • At Center Street, pick up the main bike path.

  • Head right on the path and follow it straight into Saugatuck downtown.

RIDE

  • Saugatuck Interurban Transit Authority is an easy, on-demand local shuttle. (Think local Uber-style public transit)

  • Call 269-857-1418 or use the app to request a ride.

  • Offers curb-to-curb service throughout Saugatuck, Douglas, and surrounding township areas.

  • Standard fare is typically $1 per ride.
