The room shimmered before a single guest arrived, mirrored tables reflecting soft candlelight, disco balls cascading over the stage, and a palette of burgundy, black, and hunter green setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Alex and Mike’s Cascade Hills Country Club wedding was a study in contrast: modern yet timeless, moody yet vibrant, and layered with intentional detail at every turn.

As a Michigan wedding planner, we’re always drawn to designs that feel immersive, and this luxury Michigan wedding did exactly that, thanks to Rhiannon Bosse. From the moment guests entered, they were enveloped in a space that felt more like an experience than a reception. Towering indoor trees grew within oversized mirrored tables, while silver accents and velvet textures added depth and richness throughout the wedding design.

Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create moments of surprise and delight. A custom cigar roller invited guests to linger, while three distinct matchbook designs became keepsakes of the night. Fruit adorned with delicate pearl accents added an unexpected editorial touch, and the bar, anchored by a dramatic “fallen” chandelier dripping in florals and light, quickly became a focal point of the celebration.

Behind the scenes, seamless execution ensured the evening unfolded effortlessly. Coordinating transportation from the church to Cascade Hills Country Club in carefully timed waves allowed guests to arrive with ease, setting the stage for a smooth transition into cocktail hour and the celebration that followed.
