Lauren and Nathan’s private backyard wedding at a glance, looks like a gardenesque affair you would find between the pages of Vogue. You would never know the yo-yo of decisions that went on behind the scenes, and it just goes to show that no matter what, your love will always be the cover page in your wedding story.

We loved Andrea and Drew’s Wedding at the Felt Mansion Estate. From the classic dress to the classic car, the vision for the day tied everything together perfectly.

Everyone loves a Michigan barn wedding, especially when it’s at the Blue Dress Barn. Covered in ivy and nestled away in the heart of Benton Harbor, the old dairy barn has been refined to host a large number of guests in a comfortable garden setting.

It’s no coincidence, our time spent living out in California helps to draw all the West Coast couples right to our door! If Christine and John’s Save The Dates were any indication, we knew we’d be implementing some Cali flair into their lakeside wedding.

I love when both couples both take part in the planning process and have things they want to share with each other, and their guests. From the moment we had our first call and shared our Chicago loves (hello Mariano’s!) I knew that Cali and Shane’s Michigan Barn Wedding would be one of my favorites.

Pair the most glamorous old Hollywood bride with her steel fox beau, add the most well-behaved guest pup, and set it all up in an al fresco dinner on the shores of Saugatuck, and you get one of the most epic events of the decade.

Nothing says a Northern Michigan wedding like the lakeshore, bikes, kayaks and brews. Before Mikala and Jake even said their I do’s, they treated their entire bridal party to a rehearsal that was quintessential Traverse City.

With all of the intricacies that go into a wedding day’s timeline, try and imagine it with the katubah, the chuppah, the sheva b’rachot and even more Jewish customs tied in! Josh and Liz made sure that all of their traditions were upheld, while also enjoying every minute of their Northern Michigan Wedding. Mazel Tov!
