After Elopement Boho Wedding at Venue3Two

VENUE3TWO | GRAND RAPIDS, MI

9.11.2021

Carly + Matt

What do Yosemite and Grand Rapids have in common when it comes to weddings? In this case, having a wedding celebration in both! Carly and Matt took their Yosemite National Park Wedding and perfectly transferred it into their reception on the third coast.

This wedding was a perfect case study in elopement first, reception later. While still having a lot of elements of a traditional wedding day, the couple’s calmness and ease was such a welcomed feeling. I loved that Carly surprised Matt for their first look in her party dress, then changed into her original gown.

The weather was absolutely perfect for the indoor/outdoor spread of cocktail hour at Venue3Two, and the Dad-built champagne tower was the best segue into the reception.

Tears were flowing after watching the couple’s elopement montage on the big screen, and it was such a cool factor to witness speeches on the projector hearing all the words of love for the couple throughout the space.

I can’t thank the Weck and Wagner family enough for adopting me into their dreams and visions to make this day so special for everyone involved. Bring on the next member of the family! We’re ready to keep this party going.
