I love a Mackinac Island Wedding. It is such a timeless destination and special place for you and your guests. Alexandra and Chris brought all aspects of the island to their day from the horse drawn carriage rides to the adirondack chair cocktail napkins.

I LOVED how the flower canopy from A.R. Pontius turned out. The vibrancy of the colors set against the backdrop of the blue bay for this wedding in Petoskey played off each other beautifully.

We completely changed venues just three days before the wedding, THREE!! - go ahead and pick up your jaws from the floor!! HOW CRAZY IS THAT!?

Sundance Studios is such a hidden gem in Benton Harbor, MI. This idyllic venue provides so much for all of their couples from the amazing chandelier indoors, quaint bridal suites, and to the STUNNING backyard garden there’s not much you have to bring in.

Downtown Market, even on a gloomy April day provided such a beautiful canvas. When the sun finally peaked through and started to set, all the little details shined through!

It’s one thing to plan weddings for someone whom I just met or for a familiar face: it’s another thing when it’s your sister. This tested me in more ways than one, both personally and professionally - in the end, I wouldn’t change a thing!

There’s something nostalgic about getting ready in, and married near your parent’s home that has held so many treasured memories. Throw in some pictures at Leland and Fishtown and you’ve hit on all things that make Northern Michigan so wonderful.
